How long you are going to stay in South Korea, It's different to need apps. but there are esential apps no matter how long stay in korea.

1. KAKAO MAP OR NAVER MAP(In Korean 카카오맵, 네이버지도)
Though there is Google map, kakao map and naver map are spcialized in South Korea. It's the reason why i recommend these apps that these apps show collectly and variously the ways to your destination. Below captures are same routes in each apps. Also kakao map can be set in English and naver map can be set in English, Japanese and Chinese. The last tip is that you can check how much it costs by taxi. There are problems using taxi, you can compare with driver's suggestions.

3. JI HA CHEOL JONG GYEONL JA(In Korea 지하철 종결자)
Korean subway's system and facility are best quality in the world. Jihacheoljonggyeolja makes more easy using this subway system. You can see the time and route, not only Seoul but also Daegu, Busan and so on. You don't need guide maps and subway worker
